Error 506 while opening Documents from Dropbox

Hi Hopto-Team, I like your App but i am unable to open documents from my Dropbox account. Every time I try to open a document there comes the message: Error 506. What can I do to fix this problem? Regrets, Phil

I am having an issue with this as well. My files transferred fine, and I can view PDFs and PPTs, but not Word Docs. Could you help me please??

Just an update that yesterday we released an update to the app that is available for download on the app store and solves the error 506 issue.

Hi all,

We are working on a fix for this issue.
In the meantime the workaround is not to include any non-English characters in the name of the file you are trying to open or in the name of the folder in which it is stored.

I get the same error while trying to open excel and word files (either with 97-2003 formats or the newest ones) from Dropbox. I already authorized the app on Dropbox...
